Notes About Our Classes
We can arrange knitting/crocheting classes to suit your schedule. Three students are needed for a class to run so find two friends and let us know what is convenient for you. We wil try our best to accommodate you.
Individual private lessons are available at $40 an hour.
Cancellations, Refunds, and Make-Up Classes
Cancellations must be made one week before the start of the class to receive a refund. We cannot offer a make-up for a missed class but are happy to help you during regular store hours.
If we cancel a class you will receive a full refund.
All yarns for workshops and classes must be purchased at Knitting Nation. There is a 10% discount on class materials.

KNITTING 101 - $105
Basic class for beginners.
Includes skein of yarn and needles.

KNITTING/CROCHETING FOR
LEFTIES - $105
From basic to advanced,
learn all you need to know the lefty way!! Pair of needles and skein of yarn
included.

SOCKS AND LACE- $75

from Badcat Designs.
You will learn to cast on
to double-pointed needles, work in the round, make a heel flap, and turn a
traditional heel. Basic knitting skills needed. This workshop includes Andrea's
original pattern for Jade Sapphire's new cashmere sock yarn, SapphireSox. You
will need to purchase one skein in advance so it can be wound and ready for
class. One set (5) d.p. US#2 needles (or size for gauge).

ENTRELAC
SCARF in Noro Silk Garden - $50 plus materials
Basic knitting skills and
knowledge of picking up stitches is required for this class. Size US 8 needles
and 3 skeins of yarn are needed.

SPINNING DAY! - $85
One day spinning workshop
for all levels. (Includes materials for spinning at the workshop.) Fiber
preparation, drop spindling, and wheel spinning will be covered. Enjoy trying
any of more than a dozen different spinning wheels, carding with hand carders
or a drum carder, combing, and more! Bring lunch; beverages and snacks will be
provided. Wheels and spindles available or bring your own. This class will
be held locally but off-site, at the new Spinning Salon! (Directions will be
provided to registrants)
Sunday, Sept. 20 - 10-4
BORDERS AND EDGINGS
– A LACE CONSTRUCTION WORKSHOP -$75.00 plus materials. Teacher: Andrea Jurgrau.

Learn:
picking up around a center piece; working a border in the round; and working a
knit-on edging with corner miters. Materials needed: one skein Jade Sapphire 2
ply cashmere or silk cashmere for a small square scarf or 2 skeins for a larger
square; size US 4/24" circular needles (or size for your preferred gauge).
